Program Goals

The goal of the Alumni Induction Support Program is to mentor and assist VCU graduates who have one to three years of teaching experience.

Alumni Induction Support

The Alumni Induction Support Program is a partnership between VCU School of Education and regional PK-12 school districts to provide support to VCU graduates who have one to three years of teaching experience. The program is designed to assist new teachers with challenges unique to entry into the education profession.

VCU graduates from all initial licensure teaching programs are eligible to participate. Alumni Induction Support provides mentoring and coaching from a mentor coach, and includes opportunities for feedback, self-reflection and impact on student learning.
