About the Series

The Office of Strategic Engagement launced the Becoming an Antiracist Educator series in Fall of 2020. This dynamic professional learning opportunity is designed to intentionally develop skills to engage in practices to dismantle systems that perpetuate racial inequities.

Participants in this interactive and reflective virtual space will deepen their understanding of race, racism, and systemic inequities. Collectively, we will challenge the underlying structures that uphold racism and will develop dispositions to demonstrate antiracist actions within personal and professional environments.

Registration is closed for the sessions which began in Fall 2020. We are currently accepting registraion for the series that will begin in January 2021. Additional opportunities are forthcoming in Summer 2021 and Fall 2021.
