The Office of Strategic Engagement offers both customized professional learning opportunities as well as professional learning series that highlight a range of topics.  All of our customized professional learning opportunities focus on creating equity in schools and communities through culturally responsive best practices, with an emphasis on addressing racial, socio-economic and cultural inequities. Our professional learning opportunities reflect VCU’s Quest 2025 strategic priority of urban and regional transformation.  We do this through collaborations and partnerships with local schools and communities that focus on topics of diversity, equity and inclusion for Black and LatinX school children. Professional learning opportunities are designed for pre-service and current PreK-12 teachers, school administrators, community leaders, and the Higher Ed community.
